Driver of the GM Damas minivan was stopped while he was carrying 15 children and a mother in Samarkand province, the provincial police department said.
Reportedly, when the traffic police stopped and checked Damas vehicle on Spitamen street, Samarkand city, there were 15 passengers (underage children and mothers) in the passenger compartment, in addition to the driver. The driver explained that he was "giving the kids a ride around."
An administrative report has been drawn up against the driver.
Earlier, in Karshi, a driver carrying 25 children in a Damas minivan, and in Jizzakh, a Damas driver without a driver's license was found to be carrying 14 passengers.
