Due to the Independence Marathon being held dedicated to 27th anniversary of Uzbekistan independence on September 9 at the initiative of the Youth Union, the following streets will be closed for traffic on September 9 from 9:00 to 13:00, the Tashkent Police Department said.
Glinka street - from Shota Rustaveli street to Nukus street;
Nukus street - from Abdullah Kahhar street to Abdullah Kadiri street;
Abdulla Kadiri street - from Nukus street to Abay street;
Abay street - from the Abdullah Kadiri street. to Almazar street;
Almazar street - from Abay street to the Islam Karimov street.;
Islam Karimov street - from Almazar street to Sharaf Rashidov street.
The marathon starts from Glinka Street in the Yakkasaray district and will pass through streets of Nukus, Abdullah Kadir, Abay, Almazar and Islam Karimov, and finishes at the Pakhtakor stadium.
The Police Department offers apologies for any inconvenience caused.
